We have recently made a half moon table using Annie Sloan chalk paints. The table has been submitted to the competition #MadeItMyOwn Today I would like to explain how it was made.
Firstly, the leather was removed from the top and sanded to make it smooth. Than the table was cleaned using sugar soap and left to dry.
The table was painted Burgundy and left to dry for about 1-2 hours.
Next it was painted Olive and left to dry overnight. The next day the table was distressed using 600 grit sand paper. For smooth, shiny finish we used Annie Sloan clear soft wax.
It can be seen on Annie Sloan website http://mimo.anniesloan.com/
